Former owners of the hugely popular Anise restaurant have picked up where they left off with their new venture, Thirst Wine Bar & Eatery. The new venue boasts an extensive wine list (with a few pleasant surprises in there) and a kitchen serving up modern Thai cuisine, both as bar snacks and larger, more traditional meals.
The menu is by no means unoriginal, with unconventional creations (in Thai kitchens, anyway) such as corn fritters and green curry trout dumplings.

My new favorite restaurant
Went to Thirst for dinner yesterday and was absolutely blown away by the food. I ordered the banquet so I think I sampled a good range of what's on offer, and every single dish was super tasty. The Thai sangria was also delish! Food was a little slow but the wait staff were really friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended, 5stars!

Thirst winebar
It was a Tuesday night and we could hardly get in the place. No wonder, the food was fantastic and it's two dishes for one. The place was packed and really buzzing.I ate a great mussell dish with chilli jam and basil.Everyone"s meals were good and we washed it all down with beer from the tap and a nice bottle of red.Really cool place.

Great new place
Just dropped into this new place on my way home from work for a quick glass of wine with a couple of friends.WOW, ordered a couple of snacks and ended up staying for dinner. Fantastic food, I haven't had anything like it since I was in Thailand years ago. The sausage and green curry were my pick.
