The hotly anticipated Villager is all you've heard it would be and more - gastro-pub, late night supper club and all. There's a focus on rich, decadent flavours on the gastro pub menu, with standouts including Toulouse sausage on black pepper colcannon, Irish stew, and a slow-cooked wagyu beef rib in barbecue jus with truffle mash. The supper club is all croque monsieurs, chicken liver parfait with quince jelly, and sloppy joes, and should satisfy your late-night cravings. All in all, everybody wins - especially you if you set up permanent residency at the bar and work your way through the many options.
