The people who brought us the genteel sophistication of the original QVB icon have are behind this second Tea Room in another historic location. This edition has its home in the stunning sandstone setting of the Gunners' Barracks - a picturesque building dating back to 1873 and surrounded by tranquil gardens and bushland. Traditional silver-serviced afternoon tea gets a big swig of brash Sydney style with dazzling views of Rose Bay and Camp Cove. North shore socialites now have a new place to do lunch, and Mosman matrons will be thrilled that they can enjoy the decadent teas for which the Tea Room is known, without crossing the Bridge. A sparkling (or Champagne, if you please) afternoon tea will prove a popular choice in such luxurious surrounds, and away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD it's easy to laze away an afternoon gazing out over the water.

Absolutely the top spot on Sydney's north side. Beautiful location overlooking the harbour to Neilsen Park. Superb flavours and selection. They also offer a magnificent "High Tea" which can be enjoyed with Champagne or one of the many fine teas from their enormous range. The only downside is they are only open from 11am to 3pm. Would be a magic breakfast spot.

Great Day
It was a surprise from my wife on our anniversary; I didn't know where I was going till we got there. To be honest, it was a nice, pleasant experience. I would tell my friends to book and go and enjoy a nice meal with fantastic, friendly staff and a superb atmosphere. The food and service were great. Did I get my money's worth? Absolutely, even though my wife paid, I got the credit card bill! It was worth it and now I'm planning my 40th there.
