Legend has it that tea was first discovered by a Chinese emperor some 5000 years ago when some tea leaves accidentally blew into a pot of boiling water. Today there are hundreds of imaginative varieties of tea available and a significant selection can be found in the Tea Centre, a calming little haven in the middle of a busy city. Here, the tea is served in little glass pots, with the leaves suspended in little stainless steel cages. The varieties range from the familiar to the exotic, so there is an infusion to suit every mood and palate. There is also a short menu of typical lunch time fodder such as soups and sandwiches.
