As prolific as the pineapple plantations up in Far North Queensland, the Tandoori Place brand - boasting eight eateries throughout Queensland - offers locals a delicious selection of mouth-watering tandoori and North Indian specialties.
With the Sunshine State's abundant source of fresh seafood, many dishes on the menu at the Tandoori Place feature creatures of the aquatic variety. Cardinal among these dishes is a gorgeously presented seafood platter, given an Indian makeover and featuring fresh prawns, bugs, octopus and fish. Australian produce gets another leg-up with a selection of kangaroo curries, such as the kangaroo korma and the vindaloo roo.
