At nearly 30 years old, The Tandoor Indian Restaurant is showing no signs of wrinkles yet. This renowned Indian eatery is almost a landmark in the local area, bringing well-priced, authentic Indian fare to the good people of Prahran (and, according to their website, Elton John, Cliff Richards, Elle MacPherson and other celebrity clientele, too). Straight from the clay oven to your plate come dishes like the tandoori mixed vegetable platter, featuring mushroom, cauliflower, capsicum, cottage cheese and onion, freshly marinated in tandoori spices.
