Making a sparkling debut on the Victoria Park dining scene in mid-2009, The Silver Spoon Food & Wine is an elegant bistro that delivers much more than just eye candy. Beyond the visually striking black and white colour palette of the dining room and wine bar, The Silver Spoon proffers a selection of interesting seasonal Modern Australian dishes infused with European flair.
On the frequently changing menu, you may find pastas like the papperdelle with Danish blue cream sauce, cherry tomatoes and baby spinach (with optional house-smoked chicken), as well as meatier mains like the grilled MSA Scotch fillet with roast baby carrots and parsnips, watercress and cafe de Paris butter. While the a la carte, degustation and set menus provide a wealth of choice for those dining in, The Silver Spoon caters to the takeaway crowd too, offering gourmet woodfired pizzas at reasonable prices. It's also worth watching the calendar for the monthly degustation dinners held in conjunction with different wineries.
