Country bumpkins and city visitors alike can enjoy the true blue Aussie tucker on hand at this rustic cafe in Williams, the first town on the highway south of Perth. Located within Williams Woolshed, an authentic wool station which also features a clothes shop, sweets shop and shearing demonstrations, the Shed Cafe does old-fashioned country cooking at its heartiest.
The Jumbuck Burger features homemade lamb patties served with salad, egg and beetroot on a toasted bun with chips on the side. The gourmet pies are also a treat and come with chicken and leek, mixed vegetables, and the classic mince meat. Blackboard specials appear daily, along with big breakfasts to get the day rolling. With ample seating amid sheep-shearing paraphernalia in the homely interiors or outside on the porch, the Shed Cafe has bucketloads of charm. Make sure to check out Stanley the Ram, the Williams Woolshed's charming cartoon sheep mascot.
