Quacking onto the Moonee Ponds scene in 2009, The Rusty Duck Cafe & Larder isn't rusty at all, nor is it an ugly duckling on Margaret Street. Rather, this gourmet cafe and patisserie is ruffling a few feathers in a good way, serving up a huge variety of homemade goodies to eat in or take out. The emphasis is on "homemade" here, as you'll find plenty of freshly made sandwiches, salads, sausage rolls, quiches, cakes, biscuits and much more. The larder section is also a treat if you're looking for a homemade jam or chutney to spice, or perhaps sweeten up your own meals at home.
