Set within the Crown Entertainment Complex, the decor is decidedly modern with sleek orange and olive stools, warm lighting and a plush brown lounge area. The bistro-style menu makes for an interesting twist on traditional pub grub, with a number of flame-grilled steaks, pasta and risotto to choose from. Try the chargrilled scotch fillet served with mash, vegetables and a red wine and rosemary jus.

Not a bad pub effort
What are you to expect when dining at a pub? For me it's the food for if I am after the whole shebang I'd be dining at Melba's or elsewhere in the complex. My partner and I enjoyed our lunch meal at The Pub at Crown. Food was hot, tasty and quick and of a sizeable portion. The ice tea was not of a commercial variety and this surprised and impressed. Unlike most pubs, the acoustics are pretty good here and we were able to enjoy our conversation admist a packed dining room. Well done to The Pub at Crown!
