Could your head be spinning (how fast does this thing revolve, anyway?) or have you had too much vintage wine? Never fear, you're not stuck in a timewarp and your eyes are not deceiving you. The Point really does offer such retro classics as prawns flambe and crepes suzettes. The menu mixes these classic favourites with more modern and innovative dishes. In keeping with the something-for-everyone philosophy, the wine list is 35 pages long with an enormously broad range. Even the view is accommodating. Don't like an aquatic view? By the time you get to main course, you could be enjoying a city vista.
Of course, if you're only a little peckish you can still enjoy the magnificent views at Point with the high tea served every Friday afternoon. With a little more than the usual pastries, sweets and sandwiches, high tea doesn't get much higher than the 360 degree views from the revolving seventeenth floor.

Magnificent
Faultless service, magnificent food. The only downside is that the tourists from the Hotel show up in t-shirts and casual wear. A dress code would make it a complete five-star experience.
