As the more casual incarnation of its well-to-do cousin upstairs, this cafe exudes a relaxed stylishness, from the breathtaking views to the mod-Oz cuisine. Tucked snugly into the curve of the Point building, it also boasts uninterrupted views through the floor-to-ceiling windows out over Albert Park Lake.
The food definitely takes its cue from the hatted cuisine upstairs. A classic flavour combination of roasted pumpkin gnocchi with goat's cheese, pine nuts and nut-brown butter with sage is a stunningly simple dish that shows just what a good chef can do with high-quality produce.
