According to its owners, The Persian Restaurant can legitimately boast to be the only one of its kind in Brisbane. This inner-city eatery stands true to its name, offering a little piece of Persia in Brisbane. On the weekends, the Middle-East-in-the-middle-of-Brissie atmosphere is heightened by the inclusion of live Iranian music and, on the odd occasion, a belly dancer. The menu is true to its homeland, with the Persian platter most often getting tongues wagging and mouths salivating.

Outstanding Restaurant
We absolutely lived this place. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, the food was genuine & very tasty (and that's coming from an Arab who grew up on this food) and the service was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will most definitely be recommending it and returning.

An intriguing find....
Nestled in an unassuming shopping precinct, this little gem is waiting to be discovered. Service is very friendly and attentive and the restaurant is very clean. The Fesenjan is rich and filling and is wonderfully different to try. We went on a Winter's night but predict it would be delightful to sit outside at lunchtime. I will certainly be going back!

Really good cafe style
Tried lunch here (Mar 28, 2009). All food very good. We could particularly recommend the Lamb Shanks (served with rice). Two main courses and a shared entree of breads with three dips came to $51. All round, very good for a casual cafe style lunch.

Great restaurant, authentic food
Went with 2 other couples and found the staff very friendly and place clean. Menu is well constructed and priced well for a suburban restaurant - entrees $7 to $14 and mains from $15-$28. Food was great and coffee (especially the Persian) excellent as well. Highly recommended.
