Tucked inside an old post office, it is fitting that the people behind this bar and cafe have taken its moniker from the world's first postage stamp. The Penny Black has a bit of something for everyone, with Carlton Draught on tap, live music, and a menu with dishes such as wild mushroom risotto and slow cooked lamb shanks. For a relaxed afternoon in the sun, it's hard to beat time spent chilling in the beer garden here with a glass or two of wine and a cheap pizza.
