This place is part restaurant, part lounge, part (actually, mostly) bar, but it's definitely all Fitzroy. Reaching the top of a nondescript staircase and peeking behind the scruffy-looking door, you'll feel like you're discovering a secret, loft-style gem - except that everyone else has discovered it before you. The massive arch windows overlooking Smith Street make for an impressive feature, and the pool table, lounges and booth seating give the place a relaxed and even cosy feel, despite the lofty ceilings. The huge bar is the main attraction here, but before you let it pull you in, have a meal in the dining room, where the food is modern yet hearty, warm and comforting.
