Refurbished and re-named, Dish has become a laidback, community-focused eatery. gone downhill
We had dinner tonight at pacific grill & had not eaten there for maybe 2 years when we went quite regularly. The food was pretty ordinary & we all commented on the overly salty taste left in our mouths after leaving. The staff were very friendly & nice but when you,re charging top dollar you really should employ a Chef who can cook. Hope we just got a bad night cause there is a lot of choices in Newport these days.

Wowed by Pacific Grill
We had a group get together at Pacific Grill last Sat and had an absolute blast. *Started with cocktails - awesome *Shared a few tapas dishes to start - great flavours, fantastic variety *Our main courses were perfect! *Excellent service *Great buzz. Highly recomended

Disappointing
It was quite a disappointing meal, the meal sizes were small, prices were high and the food was terrible. I was not able to finish my plate as it was so bland. The salt and pepper squid entree had three peices of squid, fairly pricey for $16.50. My girlfriend is not able to eat meat or chicken and she was looking forward to have the salmon but they kindly told us that they had run out so she had to settle for fish and chips.

Great night out !!!!
Went to the Pacific Grill, I really enjoyed the food, had a fantastic steak, my partner had salmon, both were cooked perfectly. The place was buzzing, loved the decor and the service was great.

Teething problems
Just ate at the new Pacific Grill, was expecting similar great food and service that Dish had, Sadly we were disappointed. The waitress didn't know what came with our meals and so told us the wrong things. Our meals arrived and were bland, no sauces or side salads even though menu said they had.
