Feeding time at the Zoo...
The old zoo was a great place to have a bite to eat. We enjoyed breakfast and found the coffee great. The service was exceptional, atmosphere was ok. Would recommend this place for any meal by the array of items on the menu and the quality of food served. It would have been nice to have a little bit of history from the days as a feed house for the zoo.

Put on 'must eat there' list
By far the most enjoyable meal I had in Broome - the tapas option meant that we could sample a variety of plates. The treatment given to the fresh scallops served was a delight. To my great disappointment was not able to go back for dinner - highly recommended.

Lovely food & Atmosphere
We really enjoyed our experience at The Old Zoo Cafe; we went three times, once for breakfast and were served by a bubbly lady, then for dinner and breakfast again. We look forward to eating there again next time we are in Broome.
