The Moon Cafe is a relaxed urban lounge, popular with students and night owls. It offers a very reasonably priced range of pizza, pasta, salads, steak and vegetarian meals. On Mondays and Tuesdays they offer a $9.50 pasta special. The Moon is also perfect for a few drinks before or after a night out.

Cheap food & big servings
went for dinner, didnt book but found a table ok. I had the moon burger and my husband had pasta, the serving were massive, my beef burger had fries which could have feed half the cafe, the bun was fresh and big and filled with a nice patty, plenty of salad, beetroot and tomato. Couldnt even look at the desert menu. The pasta dish was big too, plenty of creamy sauce. The service was very quick and the candles on the table was a nice touch. It closes soon for a refurb, i hope they dont change it too much.

Strawberry pizza!
I have dreams about this strawberry pizza, everyone should try it. The rest of the food is great too, my only issue is that it's always full!

Bring back the chicken burger!
The chicken burger was the best thing ever. They've changed it now and the new version is just not the same. I hope they bring back the old one eventually. There's plenty of other great food though, especially the blue, pumpkin and thyme pizza. The chocolate dessert pizza is lovely as well. The music is usually good and the waiters are very friendly.

The Turkish bread chicken burger with pesto was possibly the BEST burger I have ever had!! The mud cake with disgustingly rich chocolate sauce, ice cream and cream was also up there in my top 5. Great food, great price and a cosy atmosphere where you can just relax and catch up with mates.
