The Mixing Pot

The Mixing Pot is one of the oldest Italian restaurants in Sydney and its longevity is a testament to its consistent quality and service. Owned by the same family for over 20 years, the Mixing Pot has recently changed hands, with a friend of the family taking over. The new owner has maintained the winning formula, keeping the same staff and continuing to offer the same authentic Italian cuisine, served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The grapevine-covered courtyard is a treat on a warm evening, but you will have to compete for a space with the Mixing Pot's loyal Glebe locals.

Italian to die for....a perfect blend of excellent food & friendly service - but not overbearing.
We had entree of calamari with a fantastic wasabi and lime mayonaise. Not too hot, in fact a subtle flavour that enhanced the freshness of the calamari. For fresh fish the whole grilled snapper was the fish of the day - and well worth the recommendation. The veal was amazing with the flavours of melted gorgonzola and sage. To get out of our comfort zone we tried a recommended magical Italian Red. Mad not to try it.
