The Mille Cafe

This spacious Italian-influenced cafe has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that's as inviting for a long, lazy dinner as for a casual brekkie on the weekend. When dining in the evening, make sure you try the lamb fillet marinated in a blend of African spices; or the seafood risotto. The servings are often generous, so bring a decent-sized appetite to ensure you have room for at least one piece of cake and a coffee.

Good Food and Good Service
Could not fault the service, very prompt and helpful. Quite a few noisy children were there when we arrived which was offputting but luckly they didn't hang around and gave us some peace. The meals were all very good, especially the pork belly which was really nice. Wouldn't hesitate to go back another day.

Fantastic for Families!
It was a Monday night and I was looking for somewhere I could go for dinner with my father and sister. After looking at your restaurants I came across Mille Cafe in Inglewood. Great!

We arrived to a warm and inviting atmosphere. The waitress was great and we were promptly seated at a table by the window. The menu had many fantastic dishes to choose from but we decided on the lamb sausages with mash which tasted great, only the sauce was slightly on the sweet side; the sirloin steak with fries instead of mash, my poor father had to part with quite a bit of it! I got the twice roated pork belly which came out exactly how I wanted! The prices were reasonable and the servings were generous which is exactly what I was looking for in a family restaurant.

After we finished our meals my sister said, "It feels like Christmas". Probably because the food, decor and the lighting were all warm and inviting.

We will definitley be going there again!

Mediocre
Very disappointed with my 2nd time at Mille. My pasta dish was okay. Some of my other dinner companions made similar comments on their mains being a little plain/ordinary. Service could definitely be improved - staff seemed too rushed to offer pepper with mains or even ask if we wanted dessert/coffee. Some of the seating could do with an upgrade - sat on a chair with broken caning.

Horrible experience
Went for mother's day breakfast. The main problem was with the overworked staff they were rude and arrogant, the food was very average. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Very pleased
Popped in for a quick mid-week meal. At last, a restaurant that actually knows how to cook their advertised daily special of seafood risotto. Service was prompt and attentive but not invasive. Waiter knew all about the specials when questioned.
