Part of Port Bouvard's $6million clubhouse facility The Cut, no expense has been spared in creating this premier fine dining experience. Their team of chefs has created a menu that captures the vibrancy of Mediterranean cooking in dishes such as the grilled chermoula-coated king prawns with coriander and mango salsa, or the Mount Barker chicken filled with semi-dried tomatoes and Persian feta. Cellarmaster Phil Franzone has travelled far and wide to ensure the wine cellar is suitably stocked. Once you've pondered and cogitated, sit back, admire the luxurious surroundings and take in the stunning views over the putting green, the first tee and the coastal heath beyond.

What a fantastic night. We dined at the Mediterranean for my birthday on Australia Day. I have been wanting to visit for such a long time now. One word describes the night - unforgetable. Excellent service, great atmosphere and wonderful food - the best I have had in Mandurah and anywhere else for that matter. From the moment we walked in the service was exceptional. Happy wait staff with smiles on their faces and appearing as though they did want to be there. A fantastic ambience with the decor to match. Great for a quiet romantic night out - unlike the majority of venues in Mandurah. The food was, as the review shows, SUPERLATIVE. We had the full 4 courses - starters, entree, main and dessert and all were outstanding - I had the roast quail entree, zataar duck breast main followed by baked apple and rhubarb crumble. All the flavours were exceptional - seasoned to perfection - AT LAST. My wife had a Mediterranean salad entree, fillet steak main followed by chocolate cake. Once again, excellent flavour combinations and cooked to perfection. We shared a bread tasting plate as a starter and it too was fantastic. All dishes were presented perfectly - second to none in Mandurah - and great value for money considering we had drinks as well. So much to rave about I am telling everyone what a fantastic night it was - we will definitely be back for more. Well done to all at The Mediterranean and thank you for making my birthday something to remember - a big thanks to head chef for allowing me to view the kitchen operation as a birthday treat.

Great menu
The restaurant has certainly improved over the years. I had not been for some time. The menu and food are superb. The wait staff, although friendly, still seem preoccupied or bored.
