Although they also serve light meals (which are worth an enthusiastic mention in their own right), the desserts are the real highlight for sweet-toothed customers at the Marysville Patisserie. Excellent pies, quiches and salads are consumed in quick order so as to move onto one of the scrumptious cakes displayed at the counter.

Delicious, affordable cuisine
Marysville Patisserie, right on Glenferrie Road is a delight! All food is fresh, quality ingredients and made on premises. The service is excellent, and you feel "wanted", receive your food quickly and finished dishes are removed swiftly. It feels like a lot of love and passion goes into making the food (and drinks!) and it shows.
LUNCH: I had the smoked Tasmanian salmon on rye and my partner had the smoked trout with salad.
The salmon on rye was served with a large salad and paprika chips; a massive serving, delicately balanced flavours and beautiful presentation.
The smoked trout was served atop a large garden salad, with a whole grain mustard dressing and salmon roe. The trout fell apart, perfectly cooked and sumptuous to taste.
CAKES: The cakes are all beautifully presented as you walk in, behind a glowing glass cabinet. I had the pear torte and my partner had the Belgian chocolate mousse cake. These two cakes were simply perfect. The texture was everything you could want for a cake, and well - it made us happy!
FUDGE: I am shocked to see "fudge" is not making the list above of the wonderful treats at Marysville Patisserie. The fudge is homemade, on premises and new flavours appear daily.
We've made it our mission to try all of them, and certainly have our favourites. Personally, our favourites are Turkish Delight, Tiramisu, and Passionfruit.
