There's no prize for guessing the cherished ingredient used most frequently at this aptly named restaurant. Freshly caught West Australian marron is the ingredient du jour, skilfully served in a variety of preparations such as marron thermidor, which combines the fresh meat with a creamy and cheese laden sauce.
Freshly cooked marron is offered as well, with little else but a wedge of lemon allowing those keen on the crayfish to taste its true flavours. The 'marron deluxe', smothered in creamy garlic prawns, will appeal to those wanting to keep their culinary excursion purely nautical.
There's also a broad range of typical pub food on offer as well, with steaks, chicken and a slew of burgers. This eatery's hidden gem is its exceptionally appointed wine list, which offers a wide, but by no means exhaustive, selection of regional wines.
