Although the menu tips its hat to the finer things in life, the aesthetic of the room is surprisingly relaxed, with plain white tablecloths thrown over clean-lined furnishings and simple trimmings breaking up the otherwise neutral-toned walls.
The wine list features the best of the best in Australian wine growing. Scratch the surface a little and a few quirky local drops and some highbrow Europeans will also be uncovered which suit the menu perfectly.
As well as share plates of tapas-inspired goodness there's also a full menu filled with gems such as the twice baked crab and fennel souffle, an entree pairing fresh local seafood with amazing French technique, or the pan-roasted duck breast with Dauphinoise potatoes, red cabbage and duck croquette as a main.
