Not cheap, but good quality
It's the 3rd time we went to Loose Box, this time for out wedding anniversary. Really good food every time we went, nice atmosphere. At 150 per person it's probably not for your everyday dinner, but definitely recommended for special occasions.

Good Degustation Dinner
Don't get me wrong, Loose Box offers a very good and high quality degustation dinner... however, it did not live up to the hype that is has been given. The food was very good, but there was nothing sensational about any of the courses... hopefully the chefs can find a little bit of inspiration in order to live up to the hype.

2nd time lucky!
We spent a fantastic Sunday lunchtime at the Loosebox. As "second time around-ers" we had sung the praises to our friends about this place. We were not disappointed. The food was just a beautiful the second time around - we couldn't resist the beef cheek or the pigs trotters. What can we say but, we will be back...

Best food experience
I have dined at the Loose Box for two nights in a row once a year for the last six or seven years to celebrate our wedding anniversary, staying in the luxurious accomodation that they have. I have been a chef for 33 years and as I have said to many people since our first visit to the Loose Box, the food and service are without question the best I have ever had. Sure, there are other very, very good restaurants, but the Loose Box wins all round. Enjoy.
