One of Hobart's premier entertainment and casino complexes, Wrest Point, offers many a culinary treat for its visitors, and the Loft Bistro is one of five restaurants located in this glitzy waterfront venue. With mid-week deals such as the T-bone & a Tenner and the Super Schnitzel & Stein, the Loft's prices are thankfully not very lofty at all. But this bistro is quite a classy one indeed, looking to satisfy cravings for delicacies such as the London pork sausages with bacon and onion gravy and creamed potato, or the Fisherman's Basket featuring crumbed fish fillet, squid, prawns and scallops with fries and lemon chilli mayonnaise. Naturally the drinks menu has some top-class Tassie and Aussie drops to complement these tastes as smoothly as possible.
