Elegant food - reasonable prices
I first went for Melbourne Cup Day in '06 and the food was great, though service a bit chaotic! I have since been back several times and have not been let down on any front!

Links Restaurant Avalon
I have now eaten at this restaurant 3 times and can highly recommend it. In fact I have recommended it to other family members and they have been equally impressed! Each time the menu has been different and innovative. Chef Neil has done a fantastic job bringing this place up to 5 star standard. Some of the duck dishes I have tried at this restaurant are the best I have had in the world. His blue cheese polenta is to die for! There is always a great mix of dishes from seafood and beef to duck. There are so many delicious choices, I enjoy having entree-sized portions so I can try as much on the menu at each visit as possible. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff especially the lady from England who was one of the most accomodating staff members I have ever met. The views from the restaurant are lovely and with the improved parking, the only drawback to this restaurant is that I live in Castle Hill and the restaurant is in Avalon-Lucky Northern Beaches residents!
