Come and join the locals in this always inviting and vibrant cafe. The Lido is an Ascot institution with a famed reputation for woodfired pizza and an international menu offering a very good sirloin too. The Lido is renowned for prompt and friendly service - and a need for a quick meal is happily accommodated. The interior is bright orange and purple with art deco designs, which sounds garish but is quite the opposite. Or if you prefer to sit outside, there is street dining and a large courtyard. On the menu you will find a catch of the day, good steak, seafood, pasta and risotto. The wine list carries around 30 offerings with about half by the glass. The efficient service and reasonably priced high standard of food makes this a popular location, so you will need to book ahead to experience The Lido's charms.

night out
poor food and service.for the price not good, the main course was dry , i had steak siloin my wife had chicken OK. the desserts need to be looked at for the price not a good night out.

Fantastic breakfasts
We had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. The pancakes were divine, served with fresh strawberries, and the presentation was a work of art. My partner enjoyed his simple breakfast of muesli and fruit, also very fresh. Our waitress was friendly and attentive - she even suggested we move to a table where the sun wouldn't hit us directly of her own accord. She came around regularly to refresh our water and coffee. All in all, a wonderful breakfast experience - we'll come again!
