An expensive disappointment
After hearing good things about the Left Bank and liking the location my husband and I popped in for a quick bite in the cafe on a blustery afternoon. My husband had a steak sandwich - which for $26 was very so-so, not a good quality piece of meat.
But the real shocker were the drinks - by far the worst liqueur coffee I've ever tasted. Bitter, weak coffee, far too much whiskey and topped with spray-on foam cream which dissolved into an oil slick on the top - all for the princely sum of $10.50 each! The iced tea was no better - literally cold weak tea on ice, no lemon, and not sweetened. A shame.
