The Jetty


Chef and restaurateur Jason Coats' latest offering to Brisbane's culinary skyline seems destined to follow the resounding success of his previous projects. A radical makeover with a nautical theme has changed this venue into a hotspot for all walks of life. Blessedly bereft of the tacky nets and anchors, this is a modern yet inviting space for corporates and young mothers alike.

The menu takes a minimalist approach, but everything on it is a solid contributor. The seafood pot pie, even in the infancy of this new restaurant, is already a local favourite, and the wagyu beef burger is everything you want: lots of good stuff (especially beetroot) piled together in handheld form. To top it all off, the views overlooking the Brisbane River are some of the best to be found in the city.
