Another champion of the club restaurant cause, this Italian eatery housed in the Easts Leagues complex has raised the bar for all other venues still spruiking their tired old menus.
Everything about the Italian Kitchen & Bar is simple and to the point. The name itself hints at the no-nonsense approach and the service team continue the theme with a smart balance of professionalism and friendliness.
The menu, created by former Beresford Hotel stable-mates Danny Russo and David Magill, resonates with a deep understanding of the rustic simplicity that makes Italian cooking so popular. Expect to see more familiar classics like arancini and minestrone sitting comfortably alongside regional dishes like fettucine with braised goat and a poor man's soup of chickpea and mussels.
