This bistro offers something for every member of the family. The little ones can watch The Wiggles on the large plasma screen in the dedicated children's room while the parents can feast on baked goodies freshly made on-site. In the evenings The Hutch transforms into trendy neighbourhood bistro, offering dishes such as Toulouse sausages with creamed potato and crispy onions; or coconut chicken salad with chilli, mint and cashews.

Very Good
I'vve been to Hutch on regular basis for breakfast lunch and dinner. At breakfast and lunch they have a child play area set up (until 6pm) in a small space in the restaurant which keeps kids entertained for while while you enjoy your meal. The service is always friendly and efficient. Food is imaginative and is of excellent standard and the coffee is consistently good.

Wow enough for twice in one week!!
My dining partner and I went to the hutch for the full dinner experience after I had stopped in with my Mother for Sunday Lunch the week before. On both occasions the service was excellent.
The food was simply a sensation; the smoked salmon entree was fresh and full of wonderful flavours; I had the pork belly and balmain bug main; the pork was well cooked and not as fatty as some places do (thankfully!) and the bugs served to lighten the dish.. it was sublime, really.. Other dishes, ordered from the specials board, included the stuffed fig entree (the figs were stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in prosciutto... YUMMO!) and the polenta main which was also quite the thing on a cool evening...
On my lunch visit the week before I had the marinated lamb open sandwich with baba ganoush; the flavours in the lamb and marinated veges were amazing.
We sat outside which is quite perfect on a fine Sunday afternoon, but perhaps a bit chilly at night time so make sure you bring a jumper!! The location is a bit noisy, but the food and service make up for that.
Not only would I recommend the hutch; I am already looking for another excuse to return!!
