Eco-conscious and with an eye on sustainable produce and design, the Good Loaf is a community-minded sourdough bakery and cafe that has found its way into the hearts of locals. Recycling most of its food and coffee waste and with an interior full of repurposed furniture as well as power points outside to recharge electric cars, this cafe and bakery in a heritage-listed building is a popular spot with the good, environmentally friendly people of Bendigo.
It produces its organic sourdough goodies and cafe fare on site, and inside you'll find families, friends and folks of all types cosily chatting over coffee or a pot of tea. The corn bread and ciabatta rolls pretty much walk out the door.
