But it's much more than just a beautified drinking den (despite the gorgeous glimmering chandeliers and vintage French foil wallpaper of the cocktail bar area itself); this peacock keeps hearts aflutter with its upstairs rooftop bar, providing stunning views of the Melbourne city skyline, and its retro dining lounge - a cosy, warm and modern room that's wallpapered with decidedly retro alcohol advertisements. Speaking of food, this restaurant has a small selection of flavour-packed pizzas and tapas, such as the signature Emerald Peacock pizza featuring shredded mozzarella, chilli fennel sausage, crispy pancetta, fresh oregano, roasted red chilli, fior de latte and parmesan.
