Kitsch and quaint with its mismatched crockery and pretty teapots and tablecloths, this place feels like a visit to your grandma's. And it tastes like it, too, with homely, old-school dishes you haven't had in years. Or, if your grandma never cooked you up a bowl of baked beans with bacon and maple syrup, this could be a whole new world opening up for you. The wildly popular dinners feature whatever dishes Andria Bingham has dreamed up during the day (mostly yummy comfort food like lasagne or spaghetti and meatballs) and are often rounded off with a mean bread and butter pudding. Crafternoon is a rather nifty way to spend a Sunday arvo and goes perfectly with a plate of homemade bickies and a pot of tea.
