This gem of a restaurant is located right on the beachfront, with amazing views and a crowd that varies from thong-shod beach bums in the morning to the young and stylish of an evening. Pizza and seafood are The Deck's specialties, with gourmet toppings such as Peking roast duck or roast lamb and vegetables on freshly baked bases, and oysters, squid, prawns and mussels caught fresh daily and infused with enticing flavours. Their desserts are divine, though the selection is fairly limited. Not that that really matters when one of the choices is a lemon tart with a crisp pastry shell, silky smooth filling and a passionfruit coulis generously drizzled over the top. With the sand almost at your feet, and the waves not much further away, the outside deck is the ideal place to spend a morning or afternoon, and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and polite, smiling staff will ensure you won't want to leave.

brilliant location
We went for a birthday lunch for my elderly dad and really enjoyed it. The food was very nice, generous servings and the service was good. The view over the beach is fantastic.

Worth it for the view
The food is okay and the view magnificent. The restaurant is built on a deck right on the beach. You can look dine while looking at the ocean, without getting sand on your feet.
