After a considerable revamp, what was once the dated Tides Tavern is now the state-of-the-art Deck Marina Bar & Restaurant. It's immediately evident that a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into this project, from the stylish decor to the modern menu.
With the contemporary refurb and waterfront views, chef Colin Lyttle could easily have opted for a safe menu of pub grub classics, relying on the Deck's other features to attract customers. Instead, Lyttle has designed a modern menu that embraces the readily available local seafood yet still offers quality meals for non-seafood lovers. One taste of the wild truffle oil scallops should be enough to convince anyone that the Deck is a serious stand-alone dining destination.
