Part of next door's refugee community education centre and design school, the Social Studio, this is a very hip, '60s version of an African burger joint. The menu is full of beef, chicken, fish, tofu, lentil and Ancient Egyptian burgers - the latter an awesome combination of fava beans, free-range egg and feta cheese, served on a Turkish roll with the trademark spicy sauce and salad - as well as a few standard breaky options.
The cutting table in the name is a big, wooden, communal table that dominates the space and encourages a bit of friendly mid-meal banter with the folks around you. The all-embracing, welcoming vibe at the heart of this place is its main winning feature, and the community-minded warmth is contagious.
