The Cove

Situated in a circa 1900 family home, this Indian restaurant has a British-Colonial feel. You sit amongst white tea chests and colourful shrines to Ganesha. The chef prepares a great selection of first class curries. The Cove beef special and the chicken korma are standouts, or try the buffet for a variety of flavours.

lovely building
This is a beautiful building with very nice views from the verandah (don't forget to ask for a table at the rear or on the verandah).
The food is very good, service was good, building fantastic and goes with the atmosphere of the place.

Hot hot vindaloo
Absolutely delicious curries and the vindaloo really is very hot if you ask for it to be so, which is exactly what I love.

One time we walked in without a booking and although the place was busy, were given a table and top notch service from the jovial waiters.

Another time we had a large booking and I turned up late after everyone had eaten but the excellent waiters still looked after me while I ate what was saved for me.

The service is impeccable and the price per dish only a dollar or two more expensive than the other less flashy places nearby. Even my uncle who's not a fan of curries loves this place.

Can't wait to eat here again.
