Built in 1887, this landmark courthouse is a great place to stop for a quality cafe meal. Occasional car clubs stop by, with their classic Mustangs or Corvettes.

Lovely place with some real history.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a local and it did not disappoint. Service was very good and food was good. The alfresco area would be a great place to enjoy a meal on a lazy summer evening. A great opportunity to taste some of the beer from a local brewery.

Perfect Night
My partner and i celebrated Valentine's day at the courthouse we were seated upstairs which was a little disappointing as i love the atmosphere at the main dining area. Luckily our seating arrangements were out-shined by the fantastic food and service. We had a lovely waitress. The wine list is great. I had the coconut prawns and the Fillet Mignon. The steak was perfectly cooked I definately recommend it. My partner had the King Fish which she absolutely loved. Overall great night. We definately plan to be regulars at the courthouse.

Valentine's Day 2010
We had a lovely waitress, wonderful bottle of wine but waited nearly two hours for our main meal. We were told it would be another five minutes and were still waiting half an hour later. Whilst my partner's steak was great, the mash potato was nearly cold and lumpy and the spagetti marinara was slapped into a bowl with what looked like greated tasy cheese. Did not want to order dessert as we didn't want to wait any longer. $100+ and so not worth it. Not going back.

Service does not match price of meal
My wife and I visited The Courthouse on the Friday night and I ordered the lamb rump with pesto sauce. The meal arrived and I cut through the lamb to find the inside still raw ... not even pink. I sent the food back and it was returned, obviously simply tossed back in the pan and then thrown on the plate .... no new pesto sauce, no replacement meal. When I complained about this treatment I was met with disinterested staff. Poor service for a meal that cost a mid $30 price. I will not return.
