One of Sydney's most elegant hotel lobbies, the Cortile is a beautiful Victorian-style enclosed courtyard surrounded by sandstone arches and topped with a soaring glass skylight and cupola. Famous for its decadent high teas, complete with formal service and pianist (on weekends), there is also a full a la carte menu available. The sandwiches, quiches, pastries, scones and made-to-order crepes and waffles come served on a three-tier stand, with some standouts including the macarons and lemon meringue pie.
