Not quite as inventive as "inner-westie bestie", Oscillate Wildly (the two restaurants share the same owner), The Codfather's menu is not so much molecular gastronomy as it is freshly caught seafood prepared in an interesting variety of styles.
With an invitingly bright dining room augmented by a graffiti mural and hand-drawn caricatures of our fishy friends as placemats, the restaurant's decor is sure to amuse the little ones - at least when they're not engrossed with the children's portion of fish and chips. The menu caters to many tastes, boasting ever-changing offerings such as a fish curry of blue-eye trevalla, steamed Boston Bay mussels in tomato sauce and even some land-fairing options, such as braised lamb neck.
