Inhabiting an old church, The Clove still retains the original arched windows and air of quiet solemnity - contrasting with the joyous debauchery on the (Oxford Street end of Crown) street outside. With soft lighting and a warm ambience, The Clove is a welcoming space to enjoy both creative and traditional Indian cuisine, such as prawn masala, saffron fish curry, or one of the many well-priced beef and lamb dishes. You can douse the flames of a curry with the now ever-present Indian Kingfisher beer or the traditional lassi, a cool yoghurt drink that comes either mango flavoured or plain.
