Striking in appearance, this Nedlands restaurant and bar has succeeded Terrazza, occupying the double-storey space on Hampden Road with a contemporary fit-out filled with striped woods, astroturf, comfy booths and ottomans, galvanised bar stools and a dedicated cocktail bar and wine cellar.
Everything from the cocktail list to the a la carte menu has had a lot of thought injected into it, with innovative cuisine and wine-matching recommendations. Early birds can grab a mouth-watering breakfast pizza, and dalliers can stop by later for a wine and antipasto gorge or custom-made bloody mary. Items like the chilli and confit garlic prawns or wild mushroom arancini with truffle aioli soak up the liquid offerings nicely, while on the restaurant menu you can expect such elegantly prepared items as smoked ham hock terrine with shallot marmalade and pickled vegetables or a freshly made roast pumpkin and ricotta ravioli with sage creme, perfectly paired with a glass of the Parker Estate cabernet merlot.
