The renovated Burrendah offers family-friendly dining in a relaxed pub-style setting. Chef Mahesh Weeratunga delivers the requisite menu of pub favourites such as a classic surf and turf and a caesar salad. However, for those who want more than just to scoff a simple steak and head back to the bar, the menu also offers some interesting dining options, from a pastry case of chicken and mushrooms to a veal saltimbocca or a pumpkin, blue cheese and prosciutto pizza. The tranquil alfresco area is a highlight in the summer months when the courtyard buzzes with people dining under the trees.
