Co-owners Justin Iddles and Brett Conway are the x-factor here. The infectiously cheery duo turn a good cafe into a great one. Don't get me wrong, the single-origin coffee, gourmet sandwiches and nourishing soups definitely play their part, but finding a quirky little cafe with genuinely warm service in the middle of the city is no mean feat.
The boys definitely bring their own style to everything they do, from a rustic and wholesome toasted sopressa and gruyere sandwich with roasted capsicum and an olive tapenade to dress-up theme Fridays. Be on the lookout for the next time the pair try fashion victim Friday or the classic Canadian tuxedo.
