Taking its name from the 1985 film by the late and great John Hughes, this kitschy cafe offers breakfast treats ranging from Coco Pops to a sourdough melt named after The Breakfast Club actress Molly Ringwald, and an omelette named after heart-throb Emilio Estevez. Decked out with a killer spoon collection, nana-style knick-knacks and a giant blackboard scrawled with the menu, this is one place the cool kids of Northcote would love to spend their detention time.
