The two masterminds behind Lorne favourite Pizza Pizza, Brett Graham and Robert Lowther, opened this Mountjoy Parade burger joint in 2008, with the aim of providing a cafe and good quality burger place to complement Lorne's casual, beach-loving vibe. Happily, it's worked a treat and Lorne locals and visitors alike can't get enough of the gourmet burgers like the Hell Yeah (prime beef, tasty cheese, pineapple, beetroot, lettuce, tomato, onion, house mayo and relish) and the Bingo Bango (grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, onion, coriander, house mayo and homemade chilli paste). Vegetarians aren't left out in the cold either, with four vego options, including the popular Magic Mushroom (grilled field mushroom, fried Greek haloumi, roasted capsicum, rocket, house mayo and relish). The burger buns come from Geelong bread masters La Madre, coffee is from 7 Seeds, and what condiments aren't made in-house are from locals Four Fat Martians. Top all this off with a beach view and you have yourself a big, juicy taste of summer.
