On the magnificent Mindarie Marina, this rustic ocean-side restaurant and bar has a wide selection of seafood to enjoy, including salmon, prawns, oysters and The Boat's famous fish 'n' chips. There are also some bistro-style favourites available, like reef 'n' beef, bangers and mash, chilli prawn fettuccine, and braised lamb shanks.

Family-friendly fun!
The Boat, I agree, isn't for adults looking for a dining experience. It's a pub, it's advertised as a pub! It's a place where the kids can run riot, they have live music and good sports watching screens. The meals are little on the pricey side - however they are HUGE. We go to The Boat often and have never left hungry! A more adult dining experience is found next door at the IndiBrewhaus, much quieter, no kids after 6pm etc.

The food is overpriced and there is not a great selection. Left feeling still hungry and wanting to stop for take away on the way home. Won't eat there again in a hurry.

Like a holiday camp canteen
This place is well-located but unless you enjoy eating whilst children run riot, the big screen sports play in your line of vision and the line for ordering food snakes past your table this isn't for you.
