Likened to an upmarket steakhouse, this hotel brasserie in the heart of the Sydney CBD has created a thoughtful menu that tailors to the corporate market, ideal for a business lunch. The mod-Oz menu is concise, with a selection of entrees, mains, grill items and dessert specials. For starters, the soft shell crab served on a bed of bok choy with a soy garlic sauce has a nice chilli kick. Main dishes include suckling pig with sauerkraut, apple cranberry compote and potato puree; herb-crusted chicken with wilted spinach, brie and mushroom; and a range of premium steaks, from a grain fed sirloin to the Gippsland beef tenderloin, all served with potato puree, seasonal vegetables and your choice of sauce.
